Name a more peak game. I thought about this game everyday for the past 7 or so years, it's just so perfect.

I’ve never gotten past world 2 of this game, it bores me to tears.

This, DKC2, and Mario Sunshine are the perfect level of difficulty for me. Generally pleasant thanks to floating/glide mechanics, but with occasional challenging moments like when they take away the FLUDD or you have to catch baby mario.

Agreed. Yoshi's Island is actually a challenging game if you go for 100%. DKC2 also has a nice difficulty in general (I felt DKC1 was a bit too easy). Sunshine has some bullshit but overall also nice difficulty.

Unpopular opinion I don't like the art style too much, everything feels kinda same-y and nondescript, while SMW for a example gives much more sense of the locations. It's hard to explain what I mean.
Still a great game tho, quite enjoyed it.

DKC games have a strange difficulty curve where it suddenly takes off towards the end while being somewhat constant before.
