Still waiting for Capcom to make a modern remake/remaster of this game.
It's gonna happen, just you wait.
>>
This game sucks ass, most boss fights are boring and the game design is atrocious. Don't get why it's so overrated, dmc1 was the definitive game until Bayonetta appeared.

It already happened years ago, anon

I mean I wouldn't mind them making a modern remake of DMC, I would most certainly hate it, but given how fun DMC5 was, I don't think it would be unplayable. The sovl would be gone but it would be fun to compare them.

DMC1 is stiff and restrictive, and has weird gimmick sections where you have to swim and stuff.
>>
I'm down for them to remake DMC1, if it means we get a DMC2 remake after that.
3 basically doesn't need touching, but they're going to do it anyway.

There was a HD version of 3 for the Switch a few years ago that had some cool features:
>Freestyle mode for Dante (can swap styles at any time, can carry all weapons)
>Co-op for Bloody Palace

If they create a remake, is going to be full of woke agenda.

Better stick with the old original one.

The biggest issue of Devil May Cry is level traversal and platforming. I don't know how you fix this without fundamentally changing the combat though, since changing how he runs/jumps will affect everything else.

I just can't help it... This game looks incredibly gay. Just look what he's wearing...

bit insecure here, mate

Or maybe you are a faggit

I've tried playing DMC1 like three times now and it's just not that good. For the time, maybe, but the structure of the game, the pacing, the combat, and the enemy reuse is just very annoying after a while. I just can't get into the game.

Getting tired of autistic DMC1yumes

Not retro.
>>
>>12007116
Apparently Capcom DMCA'd that recently.

Not a copyright troll?

Maybe, the claim came from some Chinese firm.
Would funny if it turn out to be NebulaJoy jackasses trying to kill the mod because it'll create less sales for that dog shit.

Peak of Combat my ass
>>
I didn't know until recently that the Switch version of this game adds Freestyle mode. I think that makes it the only official release to have it, since you had to mod the PC port to get it before.

Unironically the DmC reboot did a decent job at fixing that. It wasn't anything impressive but it was good enough to connect combat encounter A with combat encounter B and whatnot
>>
>>12007191
yup, DmC's few positives were traversal
>>
>>12007191
>>12007226
Was DmC at least better than DMC2?
>>
>>12007298
it was honestly pretty decent. as a character action game by itself it was fairly good, people just get butthurt over the devs being edgy assholes who were aggressive about how much cooler they thought their game was than dmc proper.

the german dub was way better than the english, too. just fantastically funny.

i recently beat the game for the first time and ended up liking it a lot more than i thought i would, despite its flaws (fixed camera and infuriating platforming in some parts)

how many missions did you finish? because the first 10 or so missions can make the game look like an overly simplistic NES style game. it's a good challenging game. i used a guide in some parts. i was stuck in a couple of missions and grinded for red orbs. the game was never entirely unfair

if you don't like it you don't like it, but for me the game was pretty fun
