Yes. Its a minigame in Mario Party 1. Slot Car Derby is not too bad OP, you quickly pick up on what you have to win it consistently. As for Canary Mary, nothing you can do will save you from the retarded button mashing required to beat her in the second race.

I did it years ago when the gsme makes you play it multiple times at the end of minigame island, yet I cannot articulate how it works. Depending on if you are turning or not will determine how far on the analog stick you can input before spinning out. I feel like there is a buildup to spinning out but I can't seem to grasp that.
