What is the best way to enjoy San Andreas on PC today? How does it compare to the ps2 version? Any patches/restoration mods that are recommended? Someone said the sky is better in older versions, stuff like that
>>
PS2 version emulated is less janky and looks better graphically, but the combat and camera are pretty bad compared to mouselook
PC version with silent patch, skygfx, and your choice of other mods if you're feeling adventurous is my preferred method
>>
there is no "best way". it's 3d gta, which means it's universally garbage. get the pc port of gta 2. you'll thank me later.
>>
Original PS2 version 1.0 on a CRT TV.
Anything else is a lesser experience.

these problems were solved with mods 20 years ago.

PC with the mods that add back in the atmospheric effects from the PS2 version, along with widescreen and 1080P resolution and a 60FPS patch.

modded PC is always the best. even the shittiest ports can be fixed.
