I don't know I remember this being a pretty solid port. I didn't really struggle with the controls at all and 100% it pretty easily. I'm a sucker for Richard Horvitz so I liked the redone voice work in the US version. Overall I prefer the aesthetic of the Ps1 version, but I think this did a good job of translating 2000s anime in the same way the original did with 90s era anime. Never played 2 and 3 though. Did I miss out?
