They put one, two and three, when are four, five and Alter Code F getting added to PSN?
>>12012735Surprised 5 isn't on there because it's the most modern game out of all those.
>>12012735Probably lack of interest from Sony (given that they shut down WA devs on every opportunity to work on the series again, which is why they eventually gave up and had to rely on Kickstarter in order to make Armed Fantasia as not!WA project)And to be fair, first three games are the only good onesWA4 is not a WA game at all - bland story, bland cast, no explorable world map, completely different combat system, Tools are gone, fuckall optional content. I can't even remember if the OST was any good or not. Raquel was the only good thing about WA4.WA5 was doing its best to unfuck the damage done by WA4 (Tools are still gone but bullet system replaces them for puzzles, explorable world map was basically changed into exporable open locations, there is a bunch of optional content again with a bunch of references to previous games, the cast is not fantastic but way better than the quartet from WA4) but some things were left unchanged (HEX combat system). I dunno, I guess I wasn't really sold on the entire story (but to be fair I only really enjoyed the story in WA1 and WA2 - WA3 started out well but dragged on for too long and turned into a mess by the end).WA1 remake is weird - I'm okay with some changes but other changes piss me off to no end. I don't think taking WA1 and trying to wear it on WA3 was the correct approach for a remake.
Every WA was worse than the previous one.
you should send a letter asking about it
>>12012735I only played 1 and 2. Is Alter Code F good? It's a remake of 1, right?
>>12015960to this day I'm not sure what to start withI've got 1 on Duckstation but I'm still not sure if I should just hop onto Alter Code F, then going onto 2. Would the mechanical whiplash be too much? Any other rec'd order?I apologise if my question is retarded lads - help a fellow out
>>12015960I prefer the 2D look of WA1.Alter Code F is probably only superior combat-wise, the rest I prefer the original.
>>12015960Alter Code F is a remake, with extra quests and tools, and Jane Maxwell, Magdalen Harts, Emma Hetfield, Mariel and Zed are able to join, though only Jane, Emma, and Zed can be recruited permanently.
If you don't have a CRT and original hardware why wouldn't you just emulate them? Why wait for a bad PSN version
>>12016758Also, Rudy now just uses his ARM, instead of a knife/sword, as his main weapon
