I finally want to deep-dive into this console's library, but I'm having trouble sifting through all the ported arcade games.What are the best games that were exclusively made for the PC-Engine, including the CD-ROM2 add-on and the PC-Engine Duo?Also, I'm curious about multi-plat games where the PC-Engine port is considered the best version - later-gen ports notwithstanding

If you're a fan of slower-paced and more strategic shmups, you need to get on top of this game. Cool multi-weapon system that you get right from the start, and then you can freely upgrade each weapon as you go through the stages. In that way it kind of reminds me of Radiant Silvergun. I also appreciate the fact that you play as a robot running on the ground and not a flying ship for a change.

Tengai Makyo trilogy
Momotarou Densetsu Turbo, II and Gaiden. Technically Turbo is a remake of a Famicom game and Gaiden is originally a GB game and also later ported to NES but the PC-E versions are probably the bests (in both cases)
