Gen Xers had Donkey KongGen Yers had Super Mario Bros.Us, Gen Zers, however, had 2Battle.
I'm sorry.
I don't about that but I only just tried this game for the first time and I can see why so many of these guys drew or commissioned porn of Rouge when they grew up.
sage for generation theory ragebait
>>12020962There was more than one game released per generation...
>>12020962I had a PS2... so for me it's Sonic Mega Collection Plus and Sonic Gems Collection.
>>12020962I was a late millennial and grew up with this game. Actual zoomers were 4 or younger when it came out.
Just recently tried to play this game again to have fun with the Chao garden, but really realizing how fucking terrible the actual gameplay is. Soundtrack and boob physics are banging thoughStill seems dumb as fuck that SEGA never capitalized on the Chao garden somewhere else, it seems so obvious
>>12020962Thinking back to it Sonic stole Mario's thunder this generation, the blue blur hitting the cube and gba was like 9/11 for the plumber.
>>12023720Ya this game shits on sunshine
Damn i love this game. Treasure hunting stages are fun.
>>12023724It also helps there's 2 compilations and 3 other 3d platform games to play.
>>12020962>>12023713>>12023720Based & correctpilled.
>>12020962SA2 mostly a zillenial game, not a zoomer oneThe most zoomercore games are probably Minecraft, GTAV and Fortnite
>>12023720To be fair, platformers weren't the zeitgeist anymore on 6th gen. The "new mario" that gen was GTA3 or one of those
>>12020962>Zoomers had All-stars racing transformedFTFY
>>12024728Who decides on a consensus for these? Why is 1996 the cutoff for millennials? Why not 1994 or 1997?I think it would make more sense to segregate people every 5 years max, someone born in 1981 would be comoletely different from someone born in 1996, who would be closer to someone born in the year 2000.
>>12020962How would you even have SA2B when you were a toddler?
>>12020962I had OG SA2 though.
>zoomers desperately trying to colonize late millennial culture because they realize how barren their own era isSad!
>>12024958Oh don't be so naive, they absolutely were. Platformers were omnipresent. Sony made a point of it by having 3 major franchises get over a dozen games on a single console. They started to fall out of relevance shortly into the 7th generation. If anything the generic game of the 6th gen was still the platform action game, usually with a 3-hit-combo attack.
>>12024728'95 and can confirm.
>>12024965It's *somewhat* arbitrary but is defined by age groups, events and technological advances. I personally think that post-92 are proto-zoomers, they got social media as they got into secondary school.
>>12020962>2001 game>zoomerMillennials were the audience of this game
>>12025717Naive? Do you know what that word means?Anyway, by 6th gen platformers started mutating into 3rd person shooter hybrids, the genre just wasn't what kids wanted anymore. Kids didn't want to jump around surreal landscapes, they wanted to run around and shoot people on gritty urban settings.
>Gen Xers>Millennials
Lmao, literally all the millennial autists grew up playing this game
