>>12022496>Yeah duckstation does really well.not that anon and i have no horse in this race but just want to mention that duckstation is fucking awesome. i've been using epsxe for the longest time and would constantly run into problems with games simply not working for no apparent reason, something to do with having to select either the bin or cue depending on the game and dumb shit with audio tracks for certain games, i don't even fucking know man. getting doom psx to work on there was a nightmare. then i started using duck and everything just werkz. is duckstation made by the PCSX2 devs or is it some kind of offshoot? i'm assuming so since the interface is practically identical to the current PCSX2 version. duck and X2 are PS1 and PS2 emulation perfected at this point.

Pcsx2 used to be even worse than epsxe(which I share your frustrations with wholeheartedly) and I refused to even fuck with it, but now ps2 emulation is atleast twice as good as it used to be. Still not as perfect as duckstation, but atleast most games can be completed on pcsx2 now.
