And while the Neo Geo CD was later launched, by then way more people already owned a Playstation or a Saturn.

Anyway, the PSX port is pretty bad, missing a ton of frames.Just try playing KOF 97 on any other console and then on the PSX. On top of missing frames, the PSX version has a lot of loading, even between matches.
