Is Kirby's Dream Land's Extra Mode the hardest challenge in a traditional Kirby game?
It's definitely a batshit crazy difficulty increase. It's so much harder than the starting difficulty that I lol'd when I first tried it. Haven't played the newer games, but out of the old ones it's the hardest. No transformations to carry through either

I remember it took me a couple tries between killing the blimp and defeating DeDeDe. I appreciate the fact that Kirby games can be hard when they want to be and wish all the games had such an increased difficulty option.

This and Kirby's Adventure are the only Kirby games I've played and Dream Land's Extra Mode was still more like your average 1992 game than some crazy hard challenge

>>12022740This is exactly my feeling. I got Kirby's Dream Land for GB as a kid because we were going on a long trip and I beat it my first time before we even got in the car. I'm so thankful that extra mode was there because it was much more fun and I ended up playing it quite a bit.
