Licensed games in general just aren't done as much unless it's some gacha mobile game. Back in the 2000s every movie that came out would have some video game tie in or adaptation, but that never happens anymore. I think anime is the only thing that really even still gets game releases. But usually only the mega popular ones.

Nips love mobile games, especially gacha, and it's way more profitable than the old game releases so there's no reason to make a real game. Only a few big franchises still get games (Naruto, One Piece, SAO) and they're not even released that frequently.
