OK I have given up on life so have decided to listen to every 8-bit chip-tune ever made, on every machine, be it console or computer.how on earth could I achieve such a thing? considering the Commodore 64 alone has an estimated 50,000 chiptunes I expect the total figure to reach a million quite easily.is this even possible? I can listen for 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.
>>12023689Probably 98% of it isn't even dumped anywhere to listen to outside of the games
>>12023694Yeah I see your point, the NES has like 800+ games I think but I can see that most of those soundtracks arent ripped

the best 8-bit chiptune I've heard so far, as a point of referencehttps://youtu.be/Zh8SIAZfDKs?feature=shared
>>12023689>I can listen for 18 hours a day, 7 days a week.Good news is since you're 12 you have most of your "life" ahead of you.Bad news is downeys don't live as long as normal people.
Yes, you can probably do it. Most of the games in this era had about 15 minutes of music at most, and most had far, far less than that.By the way, don't forget the Sharp X1 and MSX!
I remember listening to chiptunes on winamp
