it's my favorite so take care of it okay?
unironically bought this at a babbages for cheap never used that fucker
that's a pretty good controller.
Secondaries don't know about cheating at fighting games. Also available in six-button with 3 additional switches, and there's a prison clear option for that one.

>>12025149Dick port
I'm down for some MK4 on the N64.
>>12025152Best ports
>>12025126I still have this thing. I think I used it once and it's been in a drawer for the past 27 years or so.
>>12025181>No No, take this one...
>>12025181It's look good for JRPG and strategy games.
>thx bro this is my first time playing n64 looking forward to playing the classics
>bro hands you the biggest piece of shit ever made by chinese slaves
>>12025237>dual-analogBut why?
>>12025246because playstation lel
>>12025126This controller is very good. Analog stick doesn’t wear out (as quicn), extremely close range to official stick, same with deadzone.
>>12025126That was a such dogshit controller, is it true that it was supposed to be a left handed controller? That's what my cousin said when gave me this instead of the official controller.
This thing is fucking horrible to hold.
I actually purchased this way back when. I think I tried it for a day or two before having return it due to it being shit -- as far as I can remember.Eventually I got the Steam Controller, and pretty much does what this wanted to, but without sucking as hard.https://www.slashgear.com/944982/the-1998-game-controller-that-tried-to-replace-your-mouse/
>>12025185They had an interesting idea but that is a complete flub coming off the negcon.
>>12025326>these tiny ass buttonsLooks like a torture device.
>>12025346they stick high up too.looks like a blistering waiting to happen
>>12025346>>12025349The X is a bitch to press as well because its cutout meets the curve of the controller housing so it often doesn't register inputs unless your thumb is really on the right hand side of the button. Triangle does this too but not as badly. The top edges of the controller (where L1 and R1 would normally be) are a hard 90 degrees so they dig into your hands. L2 and R2 are chibi buttons on the back that are annoying to reach. The controller is awful from every ergonomic perspective.
>>12025185I had this controller as a kid. I found a screwdriver and took it apart but couldn't figure out how to put it back together so I threw it out. Kind of sucked anyway.
>>12025246So you can ply the three games that use d-pad and joystick.
trade ya'
>>12025461I knew someone who had this for the Genesis back in the day. Despite being touch sensitive you'd still instinctively push it so that you'd feel tactile feedback, which would never happen. So after like 20 minutes of gaming your thumb would be sore and tired from just naturally pushing the dpad as hard as possible constantly.
>>12025126I actually preferred this to the official controller
as long it's clean i can play on any controller. and when i lose, of course, i'm gonna blame the piece of junk.
I wish I had enough money to waste on weird forgotten controllers
>>12025657Those are all cheap; only good and/or well-remembered controllers are expensive.
here you go
>>12025130only really usable 6 button I've ever seen.
>>12025792the grip on the handle is pretty good but you're expected to like keyboard the buttons with your other hand while playing streetfighter 2.I never had anyone to fight in SF2 so never had a reason to learn how to play with it
>>12025181Wiimote if it was a usable controller.
>>12025821>you're expected to like keyboard the buttons with your other hand while playing streetfighter 2.Yes. Literally how the developers intended SF2 to be played. See the arcade machine.>I never had anyone to fight in SF2 so never had a reason to learn how to play with itHave you been locked in a basement your entire life?
Here, use this
>>12025996I was going to tell you a story but frick itThe glowies dont need to know everything about my life and psyche!
>>12025710Just wait till I master it and I will ascend to something beyond understanding. You ever been hit by the six-shift combo?
>>12026341They didn't even try with this one.
>>12025149I found one of these at a thrift store when I was a teenager. It was my only usb controller for a long time.I played through OoT multiple times with this fucking thing. (That's a d-pad, not an analog stick.)
>>12025149this would unironically be pretty good if the handles were taken off.
I laugh but the complete lack of standardization back then meant stuff like this could exist. Now every third party controller is just eiher the PS or Xbox configuration.
>>12025413you could still do that with the original controller, that's why it has 3 handles.
>>12025327I don't think I've ever met someone who actually used one. Did it work at all?
>>12026584FUCK ergonomics.
>>12026341what is the purpose of this one?looks like something you would use to control a camera or robot.
>>12026653I think it's more that we kinda just figured out over the decades what more or less "works" as a controller setup. The only other real option is an arcade stick.
>>12026761It is still bullshit how more than 4 face buttons - or at least back buttons never caught on in controllers with a sensible shape once we moved to 3d.
>>12025126thought that was a gamecube controller teebeeaich
>>12025149>ps3prototype.exe
>>12025126it was fine
>>12026341
My friend had this, and I was always intrigued by it. Never played any racing games at his place though, so I have no idea if it's good or not.
>>12025710I got a stickeykeys notification just by looking at this.
>>12026718It's seven face buttons. SEVEN! Even better than six!
>>12025130I kick myself in the balls for NEVER buying this baby when I could.
>>12026774People were still making fightpads in the 7th gen with the 6 face button layout but it was mainly for people that played fighting games but were too cheap to buy a stick.
>>12025130How does it feel playing non faitans with this thing? Like DKC or Super Metroid. They should make a new controller like this but add shoulders that act independent.
>>12026936Probably terrible
>>12026936Maybe if you rest it in your lap while you tap the buttons it might be comfortable for non fighting games
>>12026920pick one up on ebay
>>12026928Yeah but the main point of them is moving the existing number of buttons around as opposed to having extra buttons available for binding. Think the white/black on the huegbox.
>>120269288th generation had some fightpads too.
>>12026989If you have that many actions you need to bind, maybe you should design your game for keyboard.
