>>12026435>Retro games that are impossible to have modern remakesOk, but movies are the hot new thing. What games would it be impossible to derive a story from to make a movie?
>>12026435what's impossible about it?
>>12026435Adventure sucks, text games were superior.
>>12026435None. They could be remade with worse graphics. Usually are.

>>12026435This is an insane thread concept. There are a million ways to remake anything, and most of them would change more than just graphics. A person who was really motivated could turn Adventure into a sound-only game that you operate with a microphone, "worsening" the graphics by removing them entirely. Even a major studio might conceivably do this, although it'd probably just be a gimmick thrown into a "retro classics" collection as an extra side novelty to spice up the product, or a one-off marketing stunt meant to promote some greater project, or something like that. The possibilities are obviously endless. Simply porting and soullessly "upgrading" the graphics and sound is the normal way yeah, but it's hardly the only way.
