Do you overclock your consoles, be it physically or via emulator settings?Do you consider playing games on an overclocked machine as legitimate, as on a regular one?
Have you ever considered having a more broad topic of discussion?

>>12027960>Do you overclock your consoles, be it physically or via emulator settings? You'll never get the authentic experience that way, just a crude imagining what the game might have been like on PC, assuming there isn't already a PC port (although PS1 era PC ports usually suck).
grrrRRRRRRR *leaps over table**grabs you by the throat*fuck off!?!???
>>12027960Yeah, for certain games. Mostly just sonic spinball at like 115-120% cpu speed. Fixes the bad compilation slowdowns from unoptimized C compliers at the time. So it's essentially playing it as devs intended.
Overclocking is cheating.
>>12027960>overclock my SNES to try to get a few more frames per second on Wing Commander >it literally starts fucking smoking >will not turn on at all now how over is it for my SNES
>>12027960You didn’t beat the game.
