playing pic related for the first time. holy shit is it hard compared to the 3 and 4. playing as my nigga Dian Wei. how the fuck am i supposed to beat Xia Pi (battle against Lu Bu)? as soon as you go to one side of the map the other side collapses, which is normal for the series but then the ol' magically appearing enemy reinforcements bumrush Cao Cao and even when you fight beside him, he inevitably dies because his AI is retarded and fights by himself against 2+ officers. it seems unwinnable.also, DW thread i guess.
wutDW5 is easier than 3 and 4 unless you want to do something retarded like Chaos difficulty with starting characters.
>>12028274>>12028283nvm lmao it actually wasn't that bad. i just had to bumrush the officer at the dam and that basically won the map. i was being too much of a bitch, but also didn't realize how much DW5 starts to emphasize the "you vs. everyone" mentality. should have seen that when they got rid of multiple bodyguards and just give you one officer-like one to synergize with.
