I played through Dark Alliance II with my Gen-Alpha nephew, he played Barb and I played Cleric, and he loved it.

There are voice lines missing, sound effects missing, and the music will randomly cut out. 6. No online co-op. This is honestly the biggest one for me. I'd gladly put up with the jank if they hadn't restricted the co-op mode to local only. The BG:DA fanbase was 100% sure we'd be playing together on launch, and when that didn't happen it was crushing. Just play the original on an emulator.

DA consistently crashes on emulator so I just stopped bothering. Snowblind engine games in general just don't emulate well, emudevs really need to figure that shit out.

>>12028893Of all the games on this engine it's the 2nd worst easily. It's not garbage but it's overhyped and mediocre at best.Norrath is this game but better in every single way. DA1 while in a few ways is less impressive still is a superior game in almost every way. It has a far better story, better environments, way better music, and I like all the characters in 1 while I can't even remember any one from 2. Norrath manages to suffer from a lot of those issues but makes up for it with much better gameplay. I'm not even going to entertain Fallout, just avoid it unless you have a friend and a lot of alcohol.Also all of these games should be played co-op no question, with out the co-op aspect all of these games are honestly pretty boring.
