Pikmin 2 is easier and far more casual than Pikmin 1. If Pikmin 1 was "boring" to you because it filtered you, then yes, you might like Pikmin 2 more. Otherwise no.

Definitely Dream Den or Hole of Heros. I replayed the caves so much as a kid that I became a total masochist.

The best Pikmin experience I've had recently was Louie's Quest. So fucking good.

Submerged Castle will always be my personal favorite, but really they're all great. Well maybe not the ones in the last area, they get a bit tedious.

I played a few levels in for a few hours and got bored of it. It seems like a very simplistic RTS game
