I tried to like it. the atmosphere and 90s VA is great. the layout of the mansion is really cool. I just dont think this genre is for me.

If you weren't already, play as Jill. She gets a bigger inventory and more weapons, much more beginner friendly.

The director cut version is better: has a cheat for extra bullets in hard mode and has a infinite magnum if you beat the game in hard mode. Both cheats help a lot to play "trigger happy" style.
