how was it overall? which games had the best/worst performance? the only one i can remember playing was mk deception on ps2. i had purchased the broadband adapter to play resident evil outbreak with my brother while he was at college but his network blocked gaming. i think this was the only other game i ever played online on ps2. it fucking sucked. connection wise as well as picrel was a completely broken character that could spam a lightning fast special that popped you up. unblockable. you had to predict and jump over it. everyone picked this character and spammed it. i could not believe they released the game with a character like that! not even kabal in mk3 was this bad. i dont really see people talk about playing fighters online in this era much on /vr/. did it just suck?
>>12039878GWED was pretty sick, even on a 56k connection. Probably helped that packet transfer was a fraction of what it would later become.
I'm sure it's great but I never bothered since in-person versus is so much fun
