What are the Dreamcast's best hidden gems?Everyone knows about Sonic Adventure, Power Stone, Soul Calibur etc but what are the REAL quality titles only autists know about?
>>12046613Maken X maybe
I could tell you but then I'd have to kill you
One of my favorite games on the platform.
Super Magnetic Neo.
>>12046641Yeah, this is a really nice title. One of my favorite autistic puzzlers is Wetrix. The Dreamcast version is the best. For fighters, there's Rival Schools 2 - Project Justice. Pretty amazing and fun title. For shooting titles, have a look at this list:https://racketboy.com/retro/sega-dreamcast-shmups-2d-shooters
Mr. Mosquito is cool and uniqueThe game needs a fucking unreal5 engine remaster
>>12046772That’s a PS2 game
>>12046774Works on my machine.
Record of Lodoss War is really fun, and it fills niche of being able to play Diablo on console (besides the actual Diablo port)Very nice optional end boss challenges and it has a nice length too, doesn't feel too long or too short for a Diablo game.
>>12046613Toy Commander
>>12046756I was playing Wetrix a while back (but on N64), man it was difficult. Not sure what i was missing but found it really hard to avoid leaks to get a decent score. Really cool game and fun concept.
Frame Gride, EGG, Project Justice.>>12047521Fun Fact: The team that developed Record of Lodoss War is the same one responsible for creating Lufia.
>>12047523Seconding this Toy Commander is amazing. Played it as a rental back in the day but finished it recently for the first time. Really varied and fun missions, and an amazing soundtrack. Surprised they have never released it again, although unfortunately it seems like it wasn't nearly as popular as Sega's other Dreamcast offerings. The idea of being able to play as the bosses after defeating them was a great touch.
Any love for cannon spike?
>>12047572I like it and have the Japanese Gunspike but it would be a thousand times better with a second analog
>>12046613Rez
>>12047536Almost didn't post it as I do not see it as a "Hidden Gem" but you hardly hear much about it nowadays. Was a big deal back when the DC was relevant.
>>12046613There are no "hidden gems". Unless your mommies hid the teen+ games from you.
>>12047527You put all the meteors in/around a corner somewhere, and keep that cordoned off. That way you won't be leaking too much through the hole it makes.
Blue Stinger and Illbleed are B-horror ludo
