good times. family together. no worries
>>12049784I'm almost never here you fucking retard. Fuck you.
>>12049781Don't you find it all nostalgic the way things used to be?Sitting down on the living room with warm sunlight beaming through the window and the whole family sat down watching you play whatever on the CRT... I'd do anything to go back.Idk what's on OP's pic but for me it was playing random games on the NES with those busted "x in 1" cartridges lol
>>12050239>Don't you find it all nostalgic the way things used to be?No, I was being molested then and had no idea about anything in the world at all. I would never want to regress.
>>12050239>the whole family sat down watching you play whatever on the CRTwat.Even poor kids had a shitty less than 15" tv in their bedroom to play videogames. You'd be taking over the family tv and you did get a chance to play on the big tv they'd be doing something else.
>>12050260Idk man I remember playing it on the living room all the time!Life was sweeter and my favourite games were the sesame street hide and seek game and the one with the cavemen where you had to run and jump :D
>>12050250Lmao>>12050260I didn’t have a TV in my room, but I had so many memories playing on the big ole wood panel Sony CRT in the upstairs living room. Every console from NES to Xbox 360.
>>12050494This is how things were always meant to be honestly! gives me nothing but happy memories
>>12050512It was a big ole wood panel bastard like this one, god I miss it.
playing on the family TV with your family watching or playing with you was really the best. I actually did so all the way until (not retro) the Wii U. it just seems dark and empty now, the CRT setup alone is not it.
>>12050519Sweet! Mine was just a big square i dont recall the details only that it was grey and really heavy
>>12050260We only had one TV because my parents weren't TV-addicted retards, but they wouldn't watch me play games or anything. They had their own lives. If anyone was watching someone else play video games it was me watching my brother, but he liked arcade action titles so we'd trade off controllers or play together. When he wasn't doing something else, because he had a life too.
>>12050260We didn't get a second color TV until like 1983We did have a "portable" black & white one that had maybe a 6 inch screen, but my father wanted the Atari to stay on the color TV 'cause that's where he played it
>>12049781What platform is that? I played the Atari 2600 one as a kid and that looks a lot like it but I think the proportions are off? Maybe not.
>>12050260My family generally had a small-ish TV (black and white for a while, then later color) in a spare bedroom that my sister and I would use for games. (We switched to color before the NES came around, fortunately. The 2600 worked fine in monochrome though.) But occasionally we'd hook a game console up to the living room TV or the one in our parents' room or something, just for a little while. This was especially meaningful, again, when the little TV was monochrome, because the big TV always had color.
>>12050250take it to /r9k/ you fucking queer
>>12050260nah my family was not poor but my parents didn't want me to have a TV in my room at that young of an age and I didn't get one until I was a teenager
>>12051090Basically me
>>12051087>queerNo, I avoided internalizing the abuse and continuing the cycle. I'm heterosexual.
>>12051181and yet, you're here
