You can see the turn orders, which are based on party member and enemy speeds, and certain abilities and statuses can change the turn order. It was really fucking good when it came out. Its still good, just not as much. Remember this motherfucker had TOTAL VOICE ACTING. Absolutely insane. The story was alright, the character designs are great. Boss fights are fun. As for the writing quality, its a fucking final fantasy game. What were you expecting, Shakespeare? Its no King Lear but we got a decent Romeo and Juliet + anime boss fights and big tits, what more do you people need
