You're only a real gamer if you've played through the Quintet trilogy

Not in the same setting. The actraiser genres have more of a claim of being included.

Terranigma never got a NA release.
>>
>>12058842
ive played illusion of gaia and actraiser (another snes quintet). its been a long time since i played gaia, will probably do it soon.

Thank fucking god! The less I get asocited with those people the better.

Soul Blazer is one of my childhood favorites. I just listen to the OST now, even if the basement track is the most annoying earworm.

Kind of a shame how many enemies can be cheesed by positioning so they will freeze in your sword held out.

I did but i'm not a gamer

the real core gamer games only real gamer play

ITT: Fake games that nobody cares or plays, but SNES drones have to pretend to love them in order to make their console look like it has more than a couple worthwhile games.

Fuck off
Soul Blazer is pretty good, but it might be dated by modern standards
Illusion of Gaia was great and still handles well
I personally didn't like Terranigma but I didn't give it much of a chance

I came to say this. Actraiser is missing

Either this is bait or anon is really paranoid.

>Fake games
how comes that this anons calls those very well known games, a fake?
In his mind, those games have no rights to be called games, for some reason, mostly based on his own opinion.

>that nobody cares or plays
Here we see how anon continues with his self-formed opinion, pretending to know everyones taste, dissmising even more the legimite existing of thoses well known games.

>but SNES drones have to pretend to love them
Now we see the actuall intent, known as projecting. While we where able to observe anon in the beginning of his post, we could notice that most if not all of his statement where built on his own opinion. Pretending to know.

>in order to make their console look like it has more than a couple worthwhile games.
here we see more hatred, it was not just about the games in the OP or the people who enjoy those games or the enjoy the console. It turns out it is soley about the console itslef, the brand, the company.

His dead seems to work for nintendo, and anons hatred seems to be about his dead.

I played them all. Haven't beat Terranigma. Beat a bird boss and then got lost as to where to go next and it was tedious to find guidance so I put it down. When I go back I'll just look up a walkthrough to point me in the right direction.

Soul Blazer was surprisingly fun and simple with a story that seemed way too good for such a basic game.
Illusion of Gaia wasn't as good and was mostly frustrating, but I thought the final boss was sick and ever since beating it I've been thinking about it. I can see myself replaying it someday.
Terranigma seems like the best of both worlds with better presentation. Really impressive.

Definitely recommend the games if anyone hasn't tried them.

honestly illusion of gaia almost works best as a standalone title, or on a second playthrough i didn't like it much the first time i tried it, after having just beaten soul blazer, but revisiting it after terranigma it felt much better for some reason.

terranigma is just seriously one of the best titles on the SNES, though. definitely in my top 5 on the system and top 10 of games period. the early period is still really good, but it only really pops off once you wake up the humans and start guiding civilization.

Because OP, a clown, did not include their other two "resurrection of the world" type of games.

Of course, you can call it also tragic that they only made five, like their company name heralded their DOOM. Granstream Saga doesn't count
