If you get an ending and it seems kinda like a bad ending... reload your last save and keep exploring and making sense of clues.

For all the flak this game gets for being easy, I've watched countless blind playthroughs on youtube and people tend to get fucking rekt a lot. Yes they are shitters but that's the general audience.I have a feeling a lot of the "it's too easy" people have replayed it like 10 times.

>>12059889it's hard at first but if you focus on finding the life energy bonuses that give you more hitpoints, then it gets a lot easier. experiment with all the weapons because there are tons of them and many of them are great. basically, i mean don't use an underpowered weapon for too long just because you haven't figured how to use whatever new stuff you find. there are many weapon types. magic is a little weak and not particularly useful but it's a nice option. your best abilities in the beginning are wolf form, bat form, and MIST FORM. you also need all these forms to be able to find some of the best items. have fun. this is one of the greatest games of all time. it was peak platformer with fun RPG elements added. don't forget to revisit areas you've already been when you get new abilities to explore areas you couldn't reach before.

Remap left and right hand to L1 and R1 to easily use the shield in one hand and a weapon in the other. Or you can remap the buttons however you want, you can do so in the options menu.
