You do not have to go and get the blue or red tunic. I never found it on my own before the internet age and do not get upset at the way other people play their game if they did find it.

DX fades in, OG pulls upward. The DX menu transition looks worse and takes over twice as long to enter and exit.

Some were shuffled around, plus the late-game dungeons hide a free revival potion in one of the chests.

One per dungeon and usually only for the trickiest puzzle in each. DX adds more that are mostly just Dora the Explorer-level talking down to you about common knowledgs.
