If you just want something to casually play with all 18 characters I suppose it's fine. But you don't really get the full experience you do of playing the original games separately. If what you really want is a full 18 character roster version of Savior, then he Playstation 2 Darkstalkers Collection or Saturn port of Vampire Savior are more accurate alternatives.

One thing I always wondered is why fightcade enforcers are convinced that's IMPOSSIBLE to play a VS match in real life outside of tourneys.I still play my favorite fighting games on my CRT sitting on the couch next to my life long buddy who's also always been a fighting games fan like me, we've been settling our score since we were teenagers in the 00s.

Vsav is such a cool fucking game and I want to someday find people to play it with but i'm too fucking autistic to find games at fightcade or ask for games in discord. (sadly don't have a friend who cares that much about 2D Fighters) Still a fun game to play by yourself with it being fantastic in so many ways. Wish we got a re-relase that didn't suck, Capcom Fighting Collection is cool but doesn't really sustain a playerbase like a good standalone relase probably would or a new game. Though resurrection flopped but maybe it could do better now with the current fighting game market?
