>>12069601I forgot to include a --POWER GAP-- between 3. and 4. Really, the top 3 are in a category of their own. Just pure lottery, 36 chambers of shaolin.
Shut up nerd
>>12069901:(
I don't really go for Golds so I couldn't say.I can say this though, IA on GT1 is a ball ache if you're not using an analog controller. What makes it even worse is that every attempt burns a day. By the time I finished the GT1 licence (without doing a single race) I had gone through 240~ days.
>>12069601Driving Mission 34 (Gran Turismo 4) is the hardest challenge of any racing game out there.>force the player to drive as fast as possible, nailing every Nurburgring sector, flawless, for almost 10 minutes in a car with some of the worst handling in the game.Everyone who completed this mission (on real hardware and without cheating) deserves a lot of respect.
>>12070960Is that the one where you have to wait two minutes just to make an attempt?
>>12069601There are no hard licenses. There is just your lack of skill.
>>12069601Getting gold on A-7 on GT3 is so damn hard.I'm also stuck on A-4 on GT2.Most licensee tests are doable within 5-10 tries or something but some will take an entire day.The devs set the times so unfairly high, there is no room for even a slight tolerable error.I just want to beat them all on gold for the bonus cars that you'll receive.
>>12070960I actually somehow skipped over 4, is the SLR really that bad in the game? I liked driving it in 5.
>>12070960>>12071531The problem is that the SLR is set up like ass in that mission, it controls a lot stiffer than the actual car in game, with more understeer as well. Anyway, the most annoying thing is the wait and the penalties, but with a bit of practice you can make it.>>12071506You think A-7 in GT3 is hard (and it is), but IC-4 in GT2 is like two A-7 turns in one test. It's already hard enough to get lucky in one such turn, imagine two in a row. Just maddening.>The devs set the times so unfairly high, there is no room for even a slight tolerable error.I think GT2 and 3 have the hardest times because they also were rushed out in development and perhaps they didn't fine tune the gold times as they should have. I think GT1 and 4 have sensible gold targets, nothing that's really gonna take you days if you have the fundamentals mastered. In the OP I didn't mention Tourist Trophy, since I haven't played it as much, and the fundamentals behind riding a bike fast are a little more complicated, specially two stroke ones, but I'd put S-1 somewhere in that list, the Yamaha TZ125 requires some unorthodox riding that baffles me.
