Just found a hidden treasure in a garage, bet you're drooling
>>
I have it already and mine isn't full of rotting bugs so nah.

I would be very happy to find something like that, yes. I've been stopping at every heap of stuff on the side of the road with a "FREE" sign next to it for a good 15+ years now and I have never once found a video game or anything video game related. The best thing I've ever gotten was a copy of Double Dash in good CIB condition for $5 at a yardsale. Meanwhile my faggot normie friend got a Saturn for free from some grandma, and I have another friend who found a copy of Link's Awakening in a field once. Life is unfair.
>>
Fuck yeah, Tetris rules!
>>

Damn bro you're not kidding. You should put it for like a grand on eBay
>>
>>12075027
It would look perfect in my epic gamer dungeon. Trade for Honda Civic?

The perfect thing to play in my Gulf War Gameboy.

I used to have a friend whose room was a complete fucking mess because he just left every disc for every game he ever owned all over the floor
cool guy though he gave me his old gamecube, along with a copy of Melee and the Zelda collection for it, as well as his Genesis with the first Sonic
I got more retro gear from that one friend than I ever did from a yard sale
>>12075775
what happened to it?

I could believe that the guts of the thing still functioned (these were pretty simple machines after all), assuming the damage was largely on the exterior, but I wonder if that's actually the original screen, or if they put in a new one so that they could show that it does still play games.
>>
>>12075841
You'll notice the screen lens is gone. I'd assume it was charred to fuck but they managed to peel it off to reveal the screen underneath, which is maybe original.

As well known as that thing is it sure seems like no one knows any actual details about it and how it was treated after it was discovered.

Tell that to the kid who dropped his LA cart in a field
>>
>>12076439
It's still cool as fuck nonetheless.
>>
I remember some letter to Nintendo Power about how some kid dropped a Game Boy in the snowy yard and lost it, and then they found it again after the snow had melted, and it still worked. Or something like that
