The races are piss easy, what gets me are the Platinum Relic races and Oxide Time Trials.I think it’s cause I’m trying to do everything with Crash when some characters are simply better for different tracks. Like I spent hours getting a 1:29 on Crash Cove with Crash; I switched to Dingo, who has a higher speed stat, and literally beat Oxide on my first attempt lol. Fun game

Got me a Kaico sd2psx so all of them are Japanese copies and I plan on running through them solo, hoping to be able to be decent w one or two characters before moving on. The Japanese versions are cheaper albeit not by much. Eventually I want to collect as many fighters for psx as I can. I just enjoy the music, fighters (random shit like Gorath) and the graphics from these games (even w reused sprites idc). I used to own them all (ntsc-u region) but my ex throw them all away while I was out of town (what a bitch yes).

I had The Sniper recommended to me as a top-tier PSX jankcore title and I must say I agree. I would have felt ripped off if I'd paid the full 1,500 yen asking price for it, but going into it for free with the attitude of watching a B-movie was thoroughly entertaining. So many bizarre design decisions and mixes of sky-high and chasm-low areas of effort. Worth the 1 hour playtime IMO.

The way the handling in Sonic R is really loose is actually better implemented and makes sense.Not a masterpiece but it is worth checking out and has great attention to detail.
