Saw this mentioned, bought the Divinity Anthology since it's on sale on Steam for dirt cheap. What am I in for? Someone said it has game breaking bugs, how bad is it?
It's Diablo with more RPG elements. It's fun. Atmosphere isn't as good though.
>>12076543They're not game-breaking, but you have to avoid getting some specific skills, because they don't work. The digital edition is an older build that the last CD edition where they got fixed.
>>12076543I once get stuck out of bounds in a map and had to hex edit my save to move myself back in.
Any arpg that is not a meat grinder, already is a superior game
>>12076570>Diablo with more RPG elements>>12076543it's Ultima 7 but better. but no party members. at least for the first Divinity game. 2nd Divinity has a stupid AI Deathknight following you around, which actually makes the game harder.i forgot what's the 3rd one.>>12076592some skills/spells are OP if that's "game-breaking".>>12076570>atmosit's got funny dadjokes and voice acting sometimes.
>>12076543Excellent game. Save often though. I played this weekend for like an hour then died and lost all my progress. Also if you are going to try Divinity 2 then be sure to use the community patch. The vanilla game has bizarre issue with frames. You'll be running at 60fps but ground moves at like 10fps. This patch fixes all that and other stuttering issues
>>12078257>>12078274When you say second, do you mean Beyond Divinity or that Ego Draconis game?
>>12078923Beyond Divinity. Divinity II is in fact the third game (confusingly named, true).
>>12078923I personally meant Ego Draconis or Divinity 2 Directors Cut. Whichever you may have bought. But yea Beyond Divinity is technically the second although its not numbered as such
>>12076543>bought abandonwareBig yikes, man. You should have downloaded it from an abandonware site because you're going to need mods down the line. Since the game doesn't work on modern systems.
