I found out about Retroachievements in 2013. After I stumbled upon the site, I quickly made an account because I thought it was a fun concept at the time.

Lost interest and stopped logging in. After years, I tried to find my account but did not remember the password. Created a new account and had a lot of fun on PSX and PS2 games and unlocking achievements.

However the recent events have really made me rethink the site. How RA bent the knee to a few crybullies over content of the game was really a bitch move. I questioned it in several posts. Retards on the site says the content hurts people. After several posts, the next day, my account was nuked. My achievements and posts are no longer there on the site. Other people who pushed back on this also had their accounts deleted. This sets an awful precedent. What if troons decide to throw another fit and post death threats over achievement sets for Harry Potter games?

Trannies have really ruined online spaces and fun.

Their top player right now is the most depressing man in existence. Chud phenotype, zero muscle mass, Norwood VI, constant droning voice, never happy about anything. There's a balancing act between "challenge run" and "speedrunning autism", for example I enjoyed the no-weapon runs in Contra-HC because it makes you learn how comically exploitable most bosses are.
actual turbo autism should go in a subset, the problem is that subsets are not segregated at all from the main game in terms of player count, meaning that anyone who has "played" the main set counts as having played any subsets.
This artificially inflates the rarity of subset cheevos to the point that half-assing a SMB1 speedrun will get you more retropoints than any normal human could get from merely playing retail games.

It is, the only thing preventing it outright is that the database for the achievement logic is on RAs servers. If that leaks fully, anyone can use anything to run the achievements that have been developed so far. You can even make the database work offline and they will work. All RA is doing is hosting that achievement logic database which includes the images, rip or leak that and they have lost everything. When you load up RAlibretro you also get some of the achievement logic. But I doubt anyone can be bothered to go that route to rip the achievement logic.
Think of cheat engine tables. That's all the achievements really are. If conditions are met in the memory it pings the achievement.
The developers that have been booted likely have offline versions of the sets they made and are fully in the right to use there sets on another site if one arises or offline.

If any developer or mod on RA is seeing this thread and has access to the database, feel free to leak it whenever.

Some of them are even announcing that they have had enough as it's a massive double standard that they don't get any help at all from the mod team or admin.
