>>12082629This is actually a game that deserves a "Criterion" re-release instead of being thrown on the NSO service. It could have multiple versions of the game, interviews, commentary, art and design documentation etc. I'd buy it.

>>12082629It's the most pure and balanced Mario game, and possibly the most pure and balanced game ever.When you first start the game, every single coin, secret and 1-up is needed to progress through the game or you'll get a game ever. Once you get good a the game it rewards you with a new game+ difficulty level that if you skipped through with warps, will promptly kick your ass and make you have to go back and play it all the way through first and get enough lives so you can practice in the new game+. Brilliant game.
