Fabio got ripped off a lot. As did one of the guys who made him famous, Boris Vallejo. I was just playing Dragon Wars on the IIgs not too long back and the art is practically traced from Vallejo.

Great game BTW.

Wasn't the cover for Dragon Wars made by Vallejo? There's actually quite a few games where Vallejo was hired to make the cover at least.
