I'm sure PETA would think so but that's a pretty rotten organization as it is, so I don't think whatever they consider to be villainous holds much water. Uhh, I guess Shadow the Hedgehog has you playing as a "villain" too. There's a dark route to play as well as light and neutral routes. Honestly any game like that with a sort of mortality system lets you play as a villain if you choose to
