Thanks, OP. Play Warcraft 3 PvP. Laddering is really fun, a good challenge, and it's nice to play the best RTS.
>>12097470Team ladder pvp is where it’s at
>>12097389I've been heavily replaying Diablo 1. Played Sorcerer, had a great time, becomes a god by endgame. Then played Warrior, gets a little iffy around floor 16 on Nightmare, but by level 40+ his crit chance and finding a good sword makes him pretty decent. (Annoying having to chase succubi)But the Rogue? I tried resetting shops for an entire week trying to get her a good bow, and at lvl 40 she's still so weak, to the point that it's just better to use Chain Lightning. Is there something I'm missing? I can't seem to get her to work on late game.
>>12097393>8 summonmancersWelcome to Lagfest 2001, enjoy your crash.
>>12097575>I tried resetting shops for an entire week trying to get her a good bowlol that's some really bad luck, man Between that and not even finding a good one in the dungeon. Didn't even get one with at least +10 to all attributes?I find Rogue is awesome until Hell. It's hard to get good positioning without getting swarmed.
>>12097393Is there anything in the game that this deathball wouldn't just obliterate instantly, even on hell? Ubers maybe?
>>12087405I can't stand this board...
>>12097728You already tried this last time. Get better material, hunchy.
>>12097728That's mostly just for Starcraft, though, and specifically the alpha. This thread's for general Blizzstuff.
megafag from doomgen and hunchback are clearly the same guy, the shit always starts at the exact same time in both threads. doomgen is his main hunting ground and he comes here for an additional drip feed of dopamine when doom is slow or he isn't getting his way. i can't imagine what kind of deranged gollum-like life this creature must lead.
>>12097575I still need to get around to Diablo 1 on PSX. Looks like a very neat version of the game and I don't have the patience for the PC version. Still making my way through vikings right now though, chipping away at a level every few days. I was going to play SC or WC3 after this but I think I'm going to try the 32X version of Blackthorne next.
One day... they will know the truth.
>>12097741Idk wtf that is, but if you're digging up posts in that archive you already ceded the "not mentally ill" ground the discussion.>>12097745There's no reason it can't be discussed here
>>12098195>There's no reason it can't be discussed hereThat's not what I was saying: That's a four day old thread about Starcraft. This is a five hours old thread about the other Blizzard games. If you want to talk about the SC alpha here then cool, but you probably shouldn't talk about Diablo in that other thread.
>>12098210he's just here to shit things up.just talk about blizzard, brother
I love the lost Vikings, played the games as a kid, now I decided to make a YouTube review of both games, gonna release it soon. It's gonna be made with love
>>12098242Wow, yeah you're right. At least it still bumps the thread.>>12098519Lots of crazies been coming home to roost in there lately.

I don't like posting in generals it feels sort of artificial like going to a book club or a record store, where everyone has their conversation topics prepared and researched

>>12098861>>12098895>I don't like posting in generals it feels sort of artificial like going to a book club or a record store, where everyone has their conversation topics prepared and researchedI can sort of get behind not liking generals, but I don't see how that couldn't apply to a more narrow topic as well. You could argue it's easier to "prepare and research" if it's just one game. There's also the benefit of having just one "so-and-so games" thread to free up and unclog the board, part of what I feel helped inspired these threads in the first place. For me, it was a cool place to realize I actually liked making WC3 maps, as well as gets lots of ideas for it. I never got inspired to make any maps in that Doom general so it was interesting to find that here.
>>12099170you're responding to shitposts by the resident schizophrenic bro. wake up.
>>12099173>schizophrenicIt's always homosexuals throwing around that word to cover up their tracks
>>12099173>you're responding to shitposts by the resident schizophrenic broProbably, and maybe I'm still responding to him, who knows. But I also used it to talk about something, kind of like I'll do now: Played anything lately? I'm still poking slowly at my PSX D1 playthrough.
>>12097389What exactly is going on in this image?
>>12099181>It's always homosexuals throwing around that word>he quotes it in his post, thus inadvertently linking it to his own entry in the akashic recordit be like it do. you just lost the game, by the way.
>>12099182I wish someone could hack devilutionx to add these effects into the game, including reflective water
>>12099183The Butcher is clearly preparing the contents for a delicious stew composed of various classic Blizzard Entertainment™ characters. Unfortunately, he fails to realize that Olaf will consume the existing stew long before he could ever reach the chopping block. Even in the event that Olaf ignored the stew and headed directly to his seemingly inevitable death, Olaf's shield would deflect the Butcher's strikes, leading to the stew's ultimate failure (failure to provide a suitable delight for the palette, that is). In this, we see that Olaf both won and lost: he cannot be killed, but he will also, resultingly, never taste the culinary perfection of his own body slow-cooked in the juices of his fellow franchisees. A catch 22 if ever there was one.
>>12099220Yeah it's weird going back to the "frozen" looking Tristram water. I know Belzebub managed to pull off some colored lighting at least, and that's an oldass mod at this point.
>>12097624Oh no, I got her a 160% extra damage bow, but I'be been trying to find something like the weapon I got for my warrior which is damage % prefix and added damage suffix. I haven't seen a single high tier bow like that.I think the problem is that bows unlike 1h swords can roll magic/lightning/fire res which dilutes the pool.>>12097894Diablo on PSX is really neat BUT, there are some really annoying things in there like the fact that any uniques you have will turn into gold if you start a new run with that character.Honestly if you want a console Diablo experience check devilutionx, it's a modern way of running the game, not unlike openlara or openttd. It runs the game with same logic, same drops, same numbers so you can get an authentic experience, but adds 60fps, full screen with different resolutions, ability to play with controller (with remapping included) and a bunch of optional QoL. It runs on windows linux android and it uses the same saves from the OG game, it's really nice.
>>12099170My level design and aesthetics improve just by studying this a few minutes. it's easy to imagine a whole thread of just world editor
Trying to do a no XP, no deaths run on Nimoshhttps://files.catbox.moe/orse3q.w3xversion
>>12099220>>12099512A big thing I'd want transferred from PSX into Devilution is the smaller movement squares for the player. My run through DevilutionX as a barbarian was fine with a gamepad, but there was still some sticky targeting issues and the movement through PSX feels solid, smooth, and not much of any advantage. There's also some slight gamepad considerations such as health potions going into your belt from the inventory upon use.>>12099604It's such a fun canvas. Still wish that glowie bridge showed up better in-game than it does through world editor.>>12099628>that camera zoom in, tutorial, camera optionsThis is awesome, man.
>>12099512>authentic experience>adds 60fps, full screen with different resolutions, ability to play with controller (with remapping included) and a bunch of optional QoLYeah... noI don't get why people try so hard to shill devilutionx as vanilla experience. It's absolutely not. It's a modified port and there's nothing wrong with that, but if people want the "authentic experience" they should play the original game. The PSX version is different from that also, but a good game nonetheless.
From the previous thread for those interested >>12083356>>12100113well maybe because, og diablo aged badly while the ps1 release, NoX and Diablo 2 aged like a fine wine
>>12100118And? How does that make devilutionx an "authentic experience"?
>>12100110>health potions going into your belt from the inventory upon useThere is an option in gameplay options for that devilution>>12100113You are right, and funny you mention that. Because when I started this recent bing of Diablo 1, I wanted to play it actually authentic so I got a Windows 98 machine running with my CD and all. And I played the first 3 runs in normal dificulty for all 3 characters (9 runs total). After I got to around lvl 26 and was ready for Nightmare I transfered my save to devilution on my modern machine.>the "authentic experience"Notice how I said "an authentic experience" and not THE authentic experience, because yeah it isn't really 100% but I'd say it's pretty darn close. If you play on the lowest resolution and don't turn on any QoL the only different thing you get is the fluid camera/panning and the ability to just keep the mouse click pressed if you want to keep attacking.Which is mainly the reason why I moved to devilution, my hands just can't take it anymore, to click 1000+ times per game session after 30 years of diablo games and RTS. (The other very little thing I noticed is that the trick of buying an item from Adria and saving, then reloading as many times as you want to refresh her inventory doesn't work on devilution)All in all if you are playing Diablo for the first time I'd too recommend to just play the OG game, maybe the GoG version if you can't get a real Windows 98 machine running. But for replays and to save your hand (and also that sweet sweet stash for unique collecting) I say just play devilution
>>12100167>There is an option in gameplay options for that devilutionNice, once they get the aesthetics, the movement, and some better gamepad attack targeting it'll be a true companion piece to the PSX port.
>>12098798Both snes, cause they're the ones that I've played as a kid. I'm gonna mention the other platforms too, like megadrive having more levels, and the gba, and blizzard collection. Also briefly talk about the Vikings in HOTS
>>12100167>so I got a Windows 98 machine running with my CD and all.Nice!>my hands just can't take it anymoreI completely agree. I used to use an AHK script to save my index finger.>maybe the GoG versionI think using cnc-draw with the OG version works on all modern Windows, and you have the advantage of choosing which patch you want to play, as you can still download all of them.>But for replays and to save your hand (and also that sweet sweet stash for unique collecting) I say just play devilutionAgreed. I think devilution missed a big chance to have a portable 100% vanilla codebase that runs on most systems (which should be named DevilutionX). Then, they could have forked it and made DevilutionX+, which could be the one we have today. What they did instead was decomp the original code (which is named Devilution), when they forked it to start porting to other systems (which is named DevilutionX) they also tried to fix what they considered to be bugs and started adding a bunch of changes (auto-click, stash, higher fov, etc). The worst change, IMO, was not using the original battle.net interface for multiplayer. It was an integral part of the multiplayer experience and we do have PvPGN servers to replace the original battle.net servers.
>>12100110>Still wish that glowie bridge showed up better in-gamemaybe you could put some glow or smoke underneath

I might revert to what I had at some point, see what I can do to make it stick out more like spawning some glowing runes as it leads up to it.>>12100521It's still neat as I remember.>breaking the barrel near the start has a fuckhuge airshipWhoa.

Thanks to some dumb post by some kid in an old forum that claimed that in Diablo 1, everyone walking around online with Plentiful/Bountiful Staves of Apocalypse had hacked them and that legit ones couldn't roll extra charges. He made me reroll Adria about 1500 times until I got one. I hate those kind of misleading posts.By the way when you encounter Archbishop Lazarus, the cutscene sounds all weird and buggy. I thought my CD was too scratched from age, but I checked my GoG version and it's the same and so is every video I searched.I swear I didn't remember this cinematic being like this back then, I was legitimately surprised.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbNr6PEodN0
>>12097389yesterday this came in the mail, I ordered it because I wanted a copy to sign for John Romero that will come to the next Comic convention to make a signing table. Anyway played on dosbox Warcraft (it's the demo) I would say It's litteraly a game of his time, but it's simple i like it but the real problem are the controlls well more the pathfinding and the limit on 4 units, but still really good game.I only played Warcraft 3 when I was a kid and played the WArcraft 2 on PSX on my PSP never tried the first one and I would say it's really comfy but maybe is better if I play the mod on Warcraft 3 well only after I finish the demo, it's strange playing old Demos CDs in 2025, but on my retro pc that I got it's another feeling, it really recaptures the same feeling I had when I was a kid, for once I bought back my memories.
>>12105063Holy shit I had that CD too. You reminded me it existed and now I'm pretty sure I lost it because I haven't seen it in decades.Warcraft 1 is a slower game. People used to newer RTS want to do a lot of stuff fast but the game was balanced around being able to move few units and being slow.I've heard some people say that the best part about it was the dungeons. Me myself, I love just pressing Custom game, putting 4 peons 3 soldiers 2 archers and clicking random. Sometimes you get the most intense battles ever when the enemy sends 2-3 raiders/knights in a row
Can someone explain to me how the FUCK mmr and ladder rank operate in WC3?
>>12105063you should try Blood & Magic to see how jank RTS was in the DOS era.
>>12105323If you pull on the MMR it gets bigger
>>12105758But ranks get smaller...
>>12105229>Warcraft 1 is a slower game. People used to newer RTS want to do a lot of stuff fast but the game was balanced around being able to move few units and being slow. I've heard some people say that the best part about it was the dungeonsPeople just can’t into slower games in 2025, it seems. Also agree dungeons were perhaps the best part of wc1. WC2 was more focused on big maps with land and sea battles, seems the closest thing were escort missions, but those don’t have the same feel.
>>12105323Battle.net match making isn't worth diving into. But, 2000 and bellow MMR are perma noobs, up to 3000 is new players, 4000-5000 are good/average players, 6000 iis literally grubby.Battle.net matchmaking sucks because it's infested with smurfs, tower rushes, and people that simply don't tap out when you win and waste your time. You should treat Battle.net matchmaking as Unranked mode and instead play on W3Champions which has a much fairer Matchmaker with a rather impressive sorting algorithm for players. You will likely lose your first games as you're seeded and you're started close to the median but makes for a very effective anti-smurf approach.
>>12105917I didn't make myself clear;>Check ladder rank>Ranks 1-10 are a variant of 6000 to 5000>However the rank number doesn't equate to mmr>Ie top nelf is 5000mr but is rank 4 and somehow the next nelf is rank 5 but 6000 mmrHow the fuck does that work? Also don't worry about the losing I already lost 1k rating down to 2k from 3k KEK
so what's up with this charm? is the tooltip fake?(175+50)*2=450, but why is the duration and damage doubling?
>>12105954I see what you're saying.I still stand by what I said, that it's not worth caring about. But if I had to guess, the rank itself is based on a point number calculated in a same way MMR is but as a static number that's added to. A total sum of a number that is measured against others and ranked accordingly. So it's very possible somoene that wins fewer "higher" quality games will outrank someone who plays more, has a higher win rate, but has losses that take the total "rank" score under the previous player.

>>12109094come here sissy boy, let me shove this skull hammer up your bussy.
>>12109129The biggest problem with nimosh is I'm a terrible gamer. The structure of rewards and chess-dopamine addiction is not there because it hasn't been my focus, only the emotions and aesthetics of surviving a fantasy wilderness. It's like a VN with open-ended gameplay, it's contradictory. I like that it can be played multiple ways though, currently doing "christ mode" where I just find or steal items to sell because killing is wrong.
>>12109129>>12109150That said, RPGs can be quite addictive with a primitive engine and I fully intend to add more interesting items and quests. 6 inventory slots is bad but just have other units carry stuff. Your comment is great because I frequently feel like an idiot for posting about a personal project no one asked for, I get paranoid the anon who tries it is humoring me, this makes it feel more alive somehow, a project that could live or die, not just empty posts.
>>12109182if I were undertaking such an enormous task I would use Unreal, Unity, Godot, RPGMaker, something like that. I understand there's a lot more premade assets when modding compared to creating your own standalone game, but if you're doing something more than the effort required to create your own version of a ladder map, seems worth it to use a more robust game engine that will let you make a standalone game to me.
>>12109202Mission creep I guess. It was just supposed to be an open-world map and the first tile of a multi-map nonlinear campaign, like a massive version of the Rexxar campaigns. I made several other maps that all linked together, none of which are inhabited or decorated because the original isn't done yet. It never occurred to me that it would be so different from other custom maps, but the basic issue is WC3 is 20 years old and played out. When I tried to have "just a warcraft 3 map" it came up against the fact that people have no strong reason to play another map just like the others. It had to take on a different existence than regular WC3 or even the Rexxar campaign, an unexpected creative need. It's just fun and games after all, I (probably) don't have a strong drive to learn those systems and make vidya for the world. WC3 is relatively plug and play, I haven't even dabbled in JASS which would fix the inventory issue and other things. I admit it is ambitious for a project with no jass.
>>12109082>what's the appeal of a clunky rpg confined to the limitations of the wc3 engine?Same kind of appeal to me as Doom and its mods, honestly. The core gameplay is fun and fine and I really like the aesthetics. Nimosh itself is a lot of fun because it's a big non-linear WC3 map with lots to discover, like finding a bigass hydra that's well above my level and going "shit, I'll come back to this later" - and when I do it's with a posse of creatures I've converted.>>12109107Nice, I'll give it an update. Got sidetracked this weekend so I didn't even make it to level 4 yet...!

>>12109242this guy gets it. A little community like doomgen could accomplish crazy things with world editor. I'm just starting to add stuff that seemed like it was missing from the base game, that I always wanted to see in warcraft like big NPC armies fighting set-piece battles. The new update has an event where two fleets go at it between the naga city and main human base, I haven't seen it yet in-game, but I think it's gonna work. Always wished they would do stuff like that in OG game but it made sense for efficiency. With modern performance we can get an ideal version.
>>12109242thanks anon! just a tip, all boats are disabled at 100hp now. They can be re-boarded though, and the enemy AI leaves them alone.
I had christ mode totally beaten due to a couple rare herb drops, but an infested terran blew up my tent and then another killed me.. at least one more round before I go back to leveling. update: beat it pretty handily this time with no boat. new mission, we're gonna camp out and try to watch the fleet battle
>>12109267Very cool ideas. One thing I've been meaning to do is just to open the original campaign maps in world edit and study them. Even the little things like how they've designed the terrain still looks great.>>12109374Cool to know. This start has been fun: First skellie I killed drop a rune that resurrected it on my side. He's been a huge boon early in this run.>complete tutorial mission of surviving first night>that "Drink Me" potionKickass.
>>12109987>open the original campaign maps in world edit and study themholy shit I didn't realize you can access them all in 1.31 without any extraction
>>12110116I thought it would be harder than that. I think it’s time I copy, open, and save my stuff through 1.31 at this point.
well that's disappointing. this tile is broken.
>>12111206went down a bit, went to town to restock my arrows and claim my 2 skill points, came back because I wanted to see if it was broken in legacy graphics too, and it was fixed.huh.

>>12111221what, project d2? that's poe bloat.
so is there anything to do with these other than port them to the expansion?surely people aren't using the soj + perfect skull recipe to reroll rares? there's also the 3x perfect skull + soj to socket a rare, but that seems like something that would be extremely infrequent, especially with the low population of classic.and it doesn't look like traderie even has options for classic trading, so I'd have to go to jsp for that?
well, time to get through hell.I expect the Amazon to struggle the most. I'm thinking I should've gone for a lightning spear build and using jab for immunes instead of the fire/cold bow build. normally I play Lightning Fury / Freezing Arrow, but since there's no weapon swap or magical throwing weapons it seemed unreasonable.I don't think poison/lightning is good, because the biggest struggle are the souls which are also poison immune, if I'm remembering correctly.
wicked for my paladin.
Finally made it through the jungle world. Took my sweet time, but I did it. First two levels were brutal, but the last few were ezpz. Now this world... whoa, this is fucking awesome. It's some kind of futuristic post apocalyptic terminator land with awesome electro-metal music. I like how they riffed on the first world's halloween theme with all the skeletons and stuff, except now it's metal terminator bones and skulls, heh. No idea what to expect going into this, but this is the final stretch of the game. Really wish there was a Lost Vikings 3 to look forward to after this but I've enjoyed the game immensely regardless.
Blizzard removed from my account my Warcraft 3 classic games that i bought more than 15 years ago.Bastards.

well. got the Amazon through hell. played Exploding Arrow + Freezing Arrow + Valkyrie. encountered 0 lightning + poison immunes. souls didn't spawn in any of my maps.I think I have way too much vitality because this character was never in danger of being killed. I kept my strength and dexterity low because my damage was scaling on +skills. it requires an obscene amount of mana potions. Valkyrie has the worst minion AI in the game, it was definitely worth investing a few points into it though because it tanked very well, and it does decent damage when it does attack, which was very helpful against fire + cold immunes. the only way to scale Magic Arrow or Guided Arrow is with a decent bow, which I didn't want to farm for and one never dropped, so I think going Valkyrie was a good move for the build.I would invest more into strength and dexterity if I were to try this build again, and spend some time either gambling or farming Diablo before going to the next difficulty for a decent bow, and spending less points on Fire Arrow + Exploding Arrow + Valkyrie to spend points on Guided Arrow + Multiple Shot.I would try Charged Strike + Plague Javelin + Lightning Fury if I were to play another classic Amazon.
>>12112425I've gotta get around to playing this, I've enjoyed your little updates. This and the pirate world look really cool to me.
>>12105063That's one nice CD!Well, the 4 unit limit makes the game more interesting and action oriented - with more units one can just send of an army and lean back. Also Warcraft needs to be played with keyboard & mouse to unleash its potential.
>>12114221>I would invest more into strength and dexterity if I were to try this build againthis isn't how D2 works little zoomie. you pump the shit out of vitality and only get the bare minimum strength and dex you need for gear based on your class/build.>spending less points on Fire Arrow + Exploding Arrow + Valkyrie to spend points on Guided Arrow + Multiple Shot.yes, spread your precious skill points around like a tard instead of creating an actual build with proper synergies.
>>12114465it was hard to get hit once I got Decoy, and especially Valkyrie. I could've spent more points on str/dex to wear a better bow so I could dip into physical damage without hurting my survivability too much. it would've let me have better aoe with multishot, and better ways to cope with cold immunes because guided tracks better and often champions that were immune to fire or cold are immune to the other too. I have ~1k hp right now with resists between 30-60.you don't want single element builds when playing through the game. have you even beat this game without getting rushed or twinking?

I want to play D2 with my kids, pay $40x4 for D2R or go classic D2? If you buy classic D2 from Blizzard, can you open it locally or do you need to launch from battle.net? Can I play 4 players LAN with one copy of classic D2?

>>12114621>that's what mercs, alt gear and single-point skills are formercs don't do anything in classic, schizobro. you can't scale up infinite +skills and weapon swaps in classic either.but go ahead and keep shitting yourself.
>>12114669d2r was just on sale last week, it was only $14, you missed out. d2r doesn't have LAN or TCP/IP though. if you strictly want to play your offline characters and LAN or TCP/IP you need to play legacy. but the good thing about d2r is that characters aren't locked to a region, when you swap regions your online characters swap with you, so good for trading or overseas friends.if you're going legacy you can find enough CDKeys on the internet, and it doesn't matter if they're banned from battle.net, if you just want to play LAN or TCP/IP.also consider cactus launcher if you're going to play legacy. it's pretty cool.https://codeberg.org/fearedbliss/Cactus
>>12114786 >>12114669oh and legacy d2 is not on the battle.net launcher. you download from here https://us.support.blizzard.com/en/article/13867 and then enter whatever cdkey you want when installing. if you registered a copy to your account then you can access your key on their website in your account details.
>>12114729>bro you have to max out ice bolt otherwise you can't use frozen orbok retard.
Considering how big the modding community for WC3 is, has there been any attempt to reverse engineer the actual game properly? People cracked WoW private servers and parts of WoW itself long ago and Blizzard only really seems to hand out reprecussions if the server you host gets really popular so I can't really think much would happen for someone cracking open WC3.
>>12115026what do you mean? custom maps are the mods.
>>12115043They pretty clearly alluded to a third party matchmaking system, dude. And if you knew anything about "openGame" projects or even just modding then you would know that exposing the internals allows more powerful modification. Basically you're retarded.
>>12115049oh so now we're going to pretend w3c doesn't exist?
>>12115043Custom maps are mods but they still work within WC3's confines. Reverse engineering/decompiling the actual game exe files would eventually let you basically do anything with WC3, including more or less making WC4 if people have enough time on their hands.I know a fair share of the game is actually already reverse engineered but the actual engine isn't.
>>12115049W3Champions exists and goes so far to basically restore to a state better than what it was in 2000's.>>12115060>weh do it for melearn to code :)
>>12115060wow and wc3 use the same engine btw.
How long should a single run of D2 take? I have a bad habit of turning over every rock when I play an action RPG and I end up burning out on them fast. What kind of time should I aim for?
>>12115501speedrunners do like 3-9 hours depending on class.I like to get every waypoint and do every quest so I'm pretty slow, nightmare is the fastest for me.specific time? idk within 20 hours probably. doesn't take longer than 2 or 3 days to finish a hell run.if I used respec[s] while leveling, and skipped non-essential quests and waypoints, I'd easily cut my time in half without doing all the super min-maxing stamina potion chugging and farming for runewords stuff the speedrunners do.
>>12115501If you're a complete novice then it could take you a week or even a few weeks to get through the game depending on how much you play. If you're a veteran, you could beat the game in one sitting. Really comes down to what you want out of the experience, and how familiar you are with it.
Necromancer is through hell now too. I played Bone. I don't have much experience with the Necromancer.I never realized how strong Corpse Explosion is. I totally underestimated this ability. I wish I would've invested some more points into it sooner, it makes clearing packs so much faster than just using Bone Spear on everything. not much else to say. you just spam your bone skills, Teeth until you get Spear, Wall and Prison for when you want to make some space, and Spirit for bosses. I invested a few points into Clay Golem, and the 2 summon passives for him, so he could sustain a few hits as well as apply a good slow effect to bosses. I went into Iron Maiden for help clearing the normal bosses, and then I went into Decrepify sometime in nightmare. I think Decrepify was a waste of 3 points. it doesn't last very long and I think with my golem being able to take a few hits, just using Iron Maiden was better.anybody else with a lot of Necromancer experience able to weigh in on Decrepfiy status? I think it might be better on a full summoner build than a boner.next up will be the Barbarian.
>>12098280I mildly wish you well with that endeavor.
I should try to necro rush someone in B.net
>>12114621Trvth Nvke Bomber rvn
>>12115026https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C4fUGyfuJMwThere is no demand outside of like, 3 schizophrenics low functioning aspies, normal humans just buy the game and play on B.net, use WC3Champs or scuffed shit like Garena with pirated copies. Also, current day WC3 Map Editor is incredibly stacked to the point it is basically a game engine rather than a mod engine too, only way you make things more custom is by straight up making the engine itself which is likely better than WC3 on the basis you have 20+ years of experience and learned lessons since then.Btw blizzard does not care if a private server is big, they only care when that server starts to shout off the rooftops that they exist, Ascension and Warmane are bigger than TWoW and they got zero legal action.
>>12115564Gonna be frank with you brother man, that shit looks gay as fuck and not one person cares about your blog. If anybody says "well I care", they're only saying it to counteract me being brutally honest. I post in this gen to talk about the games I enjoyed 20+ years ago, not see screenshots of a modern game with characters that have 90k polygons and ugly art style and no color and no sovl. It's cool seeing somebody like the lost vikings guy or the WC3 posters give updates because they're infrequent and actually relate to the subject matter, but in your case you'll post like 10 screenshots and essays in one thread about a non-retro version of a game because you have some obstinate autism that prevents you from understanding that nobody wants to see that shit when we're trying to wax nostalgic, and it just makes you come across like a poser. Feel free to get butthurt and continue fagposting but I'm just being real with you. Like man, look at this shit, you made like 8 posts and not one person replied with anything positive lel. What are you doing dawg?
>>12116946I just try to ignore him. He bumps the thread which is fine, but yeah, there's no reason for a dozen posts about how his necro took a shit in the woods. The screenshots are a bit of an eyesore too, admittedly.
>>12116946>If anybody says "well I care", they're only saying it to counteract me being brutally honest. The irony here is I'm more bothered by your post, and he's at least playing a game.
>>12116968Stay mad.
>>1211638499% chance he won't do it cuz that will involve actually playing the games and getting filtered hard. unironically have never heard or seen of anyone beating these games outside of a couple jewtube vids. also norse by norsewest is cursed or some shit.
