What spooky retro games are you playing this season? For me, it's MediEvil.
for me it's this old romp, getting rooked by these scary as hell Jasons. i always consider trying to get further in Clock Tower every october, but it's too stressful and esoteric for me right now, need chiller frights

>>12107289I've been playing this off and on. It's so rough trying to beat it, pure rng. Which I like, mostly, but it's shitty in higher levels. If you can't find the victims fast enough, they'll all be dead. You got a known where they are ahead of time and grab a few before they die. I've been fully loaded, tons of lives, then boom. 4 times in a row, all the victims died before I could even take like 5 steps. Infuriating, got a game over due to it.

>>12111717I haven't found it difficult, but I generally don't find retro turn-based games to be difficult. They're usually easy for 90% of the game, then crank the difficulty way up for the last couple bosses. I expect this game will probably follow the same formula. It's a comfy game though and I'd say it's worth a play. It's certainly unique if nothing else.
