Fast Lucca is badass and unlike it seems every FF title not everything post half way is fire proof.Ayla is annoying to keep in cut scenes but one of the best party members. Also the only way to steal.Red 13 is the fastest and great for stealing etc.Yuffie has annoying dialog and I just can't do it.Tifa is the best since she's kinda written to be for story but her play is mid imho.We don't even need to bring up useless, and you already know who I mean and yes I name her that in play throughs.I just don't replay 8, it's not worth it.

I did always use rinoa but I probably did it in a strange way.I would only teach angelo the invincible moon limit which is a function I could (presumably) replicate with items and knowing how to fuck around with the card stuff. Regardless, young me thought it was cool to outsmart a system that seemed intended to be random and force it to be 50/50 invincible status or the basic cannon move.
