What's the general consensus on this game?Honestly I wasn't impressed. I know that it's SNES and 3D games were a novelty, but it was often really hard trying to understand what the fuck was going on onscreen. And it didn't help that the game was constantly trying to force me on a first person perspective that made things even worse. The gameplay felt really simple, exceedingly so, except some of the bosses, that were annoying in a gimmicky way. The scoring system seemed completely meaningless, or broken. I almost always got 100/100 on my first try despite fucking up multiple times.I assume the sequels would fix many of these things, but is the first game regarded as a classic, or more as a tech demo that I think more accurately describes it?
