The biggest thing holding 3 back was the complete lack of difficulty, imo. The main character, stalkers (except the Scissor Twins), and environments were all really well done.It's really a shame the creator never got to revive the series like he wanted. If Resident Evil and Silent Hill can put out a decades worth of shit games before finally getting good again, it feels unfair that Clock Tower was scrapped so quickly.

Adding weapons was a retarded choice and the stalkers are more boring than Scissorman, but it's intro segment is significantly better than 1 US, with its two hour long visual novel intro. I'm sure once you get to the Barrows Castle in 1 US it becomes better than 2 US, but so far 2 isn't horrible. Maybe that opinion will change by the end of the game.
