Is it worth learning Nihongo just to play 1 game?

Why do you keep making this thread?

Life is about motivation, and if you require others to motivate you then you will eventually fall

Absolutely not. But you'll find other uses for the language of course, in the unlikely event that you do in fact learn it. If you really only want the one game, though, just install Google Translate on your phone and point the phone camera at the screen. It'll do well enough if you have half a brain and can fill in the gaps where it fails. You can always post the occasional screenshot online to ask for help if the machine can't get close enough to make ANY sense.
