I think this game is criminally obscure, not a lot of people know about it, and I'll go as far as to put it onto a "Must Play" list of video games. It's a charming adventure game with a lot of variety in its gameplay, it's got voice acting (which wasn't common at the time), the soundtrack is awesome, and it doesn't overstay its welcome. The game isn't super long.If the game were better known, I feel like people would be calling for Remaster/Remakes of it. I think the game is absolutely fine as is, but I could see its popularity shooting through the roof if that happened and word got out about how good Musashi is. It's a really good game.

>>12118657there isn't an entirely straightforward answer. While it is about a guy with two swords, it isn't particularly heavy on the action. There are enemies you kill with your swords, but you also do a great deal of puzzle solving and quests for people. Your main sword can absorb enemies to gain their power (think like kirby) and then your second sword grants you new abilities throughout the game. You do a lot of different stuff.

This is a jump game with puzzles. That's it. Not an action game. Not an adventure game. You primarily jump around and there's puzzles.The only battle-heavy portion of the game is the final battle at the Soda Fountain, where Musashi assaults the main complex and dozens of enemies come to defend it.
