The level where you end up in outer space outside a ship is an endless maze, and that's like the second level meaning the game is impossible
>>12125796True
>>12125796If you mean the Shiar level, it's a fairly straightforward "go right" stage where you only have to explore a bit to get extra health drops and unlock a gate. The spaceship part has you dodging rocks that use the exact same patterns constantly, so it's barely more than a cutscene, let alone a maze. And the part after that is just a bossfight arena.I could figure that shit out when I was age 8. And if you get stuck you can still use Nightcrawler who can teleport over walls. If you think that's hard, wait until you get to mojo world and the game asks you to reset the machine.

>>12125796why did x-men get such crappy games? even the capcom snes one was kind of trash.>obligatory yes those fighting games exist
Unplayable without the romhack
>>12127139>If you think that's hard, wait until you get to mojo world and the game asks you to reset the machine.Absolute fucking this.
>>12128228Action games are the hardest to develop without just making a paint by numbers beat em up or run n gun. There's no real template to copy that fits everything, you have Mega Man, Ninja Gaiden, Shinobi, Castlevania..... and that's the main basis of the genre to work other concepts into
>>12128247>Unplayable without the romhackNot really, no. I got up to Mojo Crunch when I was ten years old. I admit I got filtered by the reset, but the game is in no way unplayable, especially since Nightcrawler can skip every locked door and Wolverine can sit on his ass in a quiet corner and heal back up while you go and have dinner or something.
What's behind the Mojo reset part? You can't progress if you don't do it? You lost your progress?
>>12128247emu poster seething
>>12129401you have to press the reset button on the console, reseting the game. once you go that far in any game, especially one so difficult, pressing reset is the last thing you want to do, but here you have to do it to progress. it's an incredibly weird design choice.
>>12127139>>12128460>>12129356>>12130237the reset button on my genesis was sticky, so while this part needs a sot reset, even a light press would stick too long and end up hard resetting. i never beat this game until i got a game genie and could level select past this bullshit.
>>12130263Sounds like the fault is in your console, not the game.
