What non-flight retro video games can be comfortably played with a single analog joystick flight stick? I know you can play DOOM that way with one hand.

The person who made that cover fell off so hard.

Adventure games and strategy games mostly just require the mouse

I would add building and trivia games to that list. If you're looking for something silly or trippy, I'd recommend Panic! for the Sega CD or PS2.

pacman
>>
The 7th Saga had a section in the manual explaining how to play it with one hand.

earthbound was made to be playable with one hand

Remember when people kept begging gmanlives to review that mod

Didn't he compare people who enjoy Hdoom to Columbine school shooters?

Other than the H-Doom joke, there was just a GREAT vanilla Doom mapper in the 2000s, Espi, who had to have his arm amputated due to cancer (sadly it eventually killed him), and he loved the game so much he learned how to play the game and how to continue making maps using the mouse in just his remaining hand, in combination with some kind of foot pedal device.

For a flightstick specifically, Doom would probably configure perfectly fine for that too, it's an easy game to interface with. I imagine that Diablo 1 could work this well, assuming you're using the DevilutionX port, which allows for more control options.

Agree.

Literally every unfunny memelord will come along suggesting anyone playing Doom content should totally stream or make a vid of H-Doom.

any rpg if you buy this
Action games too if you're good.

Also, non retro but I've been remaping a lot of rpg maker h-games to use the right analog stick on a ps4 controller.

I got one of these and while it works fine with my PS1 I haven't been able to get W10 to detect it even though I'm using an adaptor that works with other PS controllers.

Has anyone been able to use it with a PC? Do you have to do anything special? If not, what adaptor do you use?

>If this mod is loaded along with Brutal Doom, a large number of revenants will spawn, killing the player with a text message stating, ">Playing Brutal Doom".
So petty, but I still laugh
>>
>>12126963
Turn-based games if you have enough buttons.
>>
>>12126963
If you haven't played Die by the Sword, it's pretty great, uses an analog stick to control your sword.
(BTW, if you haven't played Freespace 1 and 2 with that thing, you should.)

chingus chungus post
>>

It's because of personal history between those devs, and also that period of time when zoomers getting into Brutal Doom would be annoying cunts demanding everyone make any and all mods compatible with Brutal Doom.

Thankfully, those kids either grew up or left.

Yeah BD was something people wouldn't shut up about back in the day but no one talks about now, it was unironically just a fad.
Kinda makes me want to go back and revisit it with hindsight.
>>
>>12130612
It has its remaining fans. It's funny to me that I know of zoomers who got into Brutal Doom when they were 13, but these days they are far more about the original Doom.
>>
>>12129689
Why would anyone ever want to pay Brutal Doom with HDOOM?
