>>12127915There was a level of computer literacy on display that the worst you would get out of it is people arguing over bus bit width as if it was significant, far better than what we have today - almost identical systems nobody really knows the specifications of exactly but can tell comfortably they are not being utilized effectively.
The official uniform of PlayStation 2. Polygonal dress with twin blue/black kerchief folded on top of the chest. Incredible.
>>12128381all those women sadly perished in the atomic bombings
The reel before the price, all these games are distinctly PlayStation. The influential Densen even makes and appearance.
>>12128086>Master system 20.9>Mega drive 16>Saturn 16.74This is the power of sega
>>12128381Our brave soilders
I think Dark Cloud speaks specifically to early adopters of the PS2. While there were good games before this one, Dark Cloud was the game that hooked us to the console. It had a unique vision for the time - not just saving the world but rebuilding it yourself. The original vision for Georama is much more elaborate and I'm sure enticing to any Dark Cloud fan today. The Laputa islands, the greater sense of control in how you place world elements, freedom to adjust time of day, and jumping! There was a lot more going on in here. It's no surprise it got stripped down to a more streamlined version but I'd have loved to see a game with all of those features.
>>12128086>>Nintendo: 9.59 >>Microsoft: 6.88Gamecube has more fun games, not movie crap like gaylo and splinter incel.>>12128381imagine the smell

>>12129027Kalinske was the only reasonable individual among Sega's executives and responsible for keeping Sega's console division active and relevant for a few more years. He would never have approved the allocating so many resources to things like VMUs and niche (and boring) games like Shenmue and Seaman.Sega of Japan was run literally by delusional schizos.
>>12129036The bitter infighting of the 90s was baffling
