>>12134313First one is pretty fun, but it gets repetitive around 3-4 hours in. The puzzles are also annoying, rather than creative, or interesting...or fun...Dino Crisis 2 is more action-oriented. Shorter. Pretty fun. They're both solid 7/10's.

I only finished 1 once and it was pretty good at the start, but midway through it gets really boring. I might be remembering wrong here but I don't think the game even has proper weapons, I was using tranquilizers until the end game?I loved 2 and beat it multiple times, I think I even unlocked all the dinos in the fighting minigame. It's more action focused, and buying things at those little computers might feel weird at first, but I prefer 2 much more anyways.
>>12134313The original Dino Crisis is nearly worthless, they removed everything that worked with RE and replaced it with nonsense for some reason. Then for the sequel they trashed ALL the nonsense and went into the complete opposite direction, needless to say the sequel is a must play.

Reminder that the original ISNT a Shinji Mikami game, it's Shu Takumi's first game and he openly admitted he had no idea what the fuck he was doing and Mikami had to fill in to wrap the project up. Then Shu Takumi made the sequel after taking a look at what was wrong with the original, which is pretty much everything.

It would be neat if there was a 3d game where you carry a gun in Isla Sorna. And you select all the main characters with different paths. You could win as Nedry and get him to the boat. I never played Dino Crisis very far. To be honest a lot of dino games were way cheesy with bad dinosaur designs. A lot of these games suffered tank controls, when we were playing 007 instead.

>>12134313I love dino crisis, the aesthetic, the vibe, the characters. However, dino crisis 1 is not the best to play unless you LOVE puzzles. It is puzzle after puzzle after puzzle. Dino Crisis 1 is like 85% puzzles and 15% dinosaurs.
