Is it worth playing in current year?
It's still the best western Zelda inspired game
>>12135286It's okay and the aesthetics are very similar to Rayman 2, but I never found it to be groundbreaking or something and thus I never rated it very high in the first placeIIRC the game isn't even that long (I think it took me about 10-15 hours to 100% during my first playthrough) and in worst case you can always drop it if you didn't like itToo bad about BG&E2
It's seriously just okay, perfectly enjoyable but nothing much beyond that. Really feels like something that mainly gets hyped up from people who haven't actually played it. Don't go into it expecting anything greater than an endearing 7/10.
>>12135379Yeah basically this
PROPAGANDA
>>12135286it's ok
>Game about a journalistBeyond good and evil resides ignorance.
preeetty decent, basically like an older style 3d zelda with boat sections, i finished it once and forgot about it. never felt compelled to play the remaster
ok wtf i just started playing this am I being watched?
>>12135948yes but it's by a hot girl with a camera instead of the fe
>>12135286Critics went apeshit for this game back in the day. Or at least that’s what I remember. Is it like Okami where it’s only good in *theory* but the game itself is actually rather dull?
>>12137130The locations are cool and the characters are very memorable. The world building is very good
>>12135286Only if you're above good & evil.
>>12135286I enjoyed it. The characters are charming and photography is comfy. I even liked the stealth missions and the final boss with the screen flipping
>Beyond (Good &) EvilWill always make me think of another game
>>12135286it's reddit/youtuber mid slop.no one cared about this game when it came out, it wasn't until a few nerdy cunts online acted like this was some masterpiece that people started saying it's good.
>>12137130>Critics went apeshit for this game back in the day."Back in the day" critics would suck a thousand cocks to defend mid NES games that are unplayable today. What's your point?
>>12135286Not particularly, it's only okay. The entire game takes place in one very small area and vast majority of your time is spent doing a few extremely boring and tedious dungeons. If Zelda series on average is like a 9/10, this is like a 6/10.
>>12137441Just that the game was treated like a misunderstood gem, pretty much like Okami, when that couldn't be any further from the truth.
