SotC doesn't emulate poorly, it's just very demanding. >>12140028 are actual examples of PS2 games that still have problems.
On the GameCube side, the Rogue Squadron games are still badly emulated, and IIRC are in fact the only games that are currently unplayable across the entire GC and Wii library.

I emulated all four Ratchet and Clank games a while ago, and I remember 3 being a bit laggy, even though all the others ran completely fine, even Deadlocked.
