Does anyone else mostly replay games? I've played hundreds of games and I find more enjoyment from picking an old favorite than trying a new game. Having played so many the rotation stays "fresh" because it takes months to even years to get back to some titles. Maybe it's just an age thing but new games almost always play worse than something I've already played. Maybe it's just autism, but anyhow was curious if anyone else reaches for things they've already played or do you have a healthy rotations of new and old.
Yep. Good games are good regardless of how much you play them. Most games are not good, therefore most of us wind up replaying a select few.
>>12148360most games past 6th gen bore me like you wouldn't believe. not saying that every retro game is fun but I definitively have a better time with them instead in general.
>>12148360I'm one of those people who prefers to know 105% about a handful of select games vs. playing as many games as possible to the "end boss" and then dropping it forever
I play what I have access to and am interested in. Simple as.

>>12148360I mostly play games I've never played before. Beat a ton of arcade games this year and had a blast.
>>12148360I have defective memory, so I quickly forget the details of the games that I played. I usually can't remember most stuff like story, dialogues, objectives unless I played the game extensively for a long time.So yeah, I occasionally replay games almost as if I've never played them before.
>>12149001I also kind of have this. I only vaguely remember most games and have an idea of what to do but forget key details.
>>12148360Yeah, mostly with retroachievements
